Cold brew is, as the name suggests, coffee brewed cold. This drink is made by slowly infusing the coffeefor a minimum of 12 hours and amaximum of24 hours. To make it, you’ll need a sufficient quantity of cold water and ground coffee beans.
This coffee preparation method is known as “slow coffee“. Thanks to this method, your coffee will be less bitter, as you avoid over-extraction. What’s more, your cold brew will contain more caffeine.
WHAT IS YUZU?
Yuzu is a citrus fruit native to China. It later spread to South Korea and Japan. It is characterised by its thick, bumpy skin. In terms of taste, yuzu can be likened to lime, yellow grapefruit and mandarin orange.
Like these citrus fruits, yuzu is quite acidic. This citrus fruit is a favourite with pastry chefs and cooks the world over. It is also a key ingredient in Japanese cuisine. In particular, it is used as a condiment and juice for seasoning.
