What is a frappé coffee?

Why do we say “greek iced coffee” ?
The story goest that its inventor is a Nestlé employée who came to Greece during the International Exhibition in Thessaloniki in 1957. At that time, Nestlé wanted to sell chocolate drink to be prepared in a shaker. His reprentative couldn’t fint hot water for his coffee, so he thought of using the same technique by replacing the chocolate with coffee. A few decades later, the frappé coffee became a popular drink in Greece and Cyprys. This drink was then democratized in France during the Second World War. The real recipe of frappé coffee is prepared with instant coffee, water, sugar and sometimes milk. Depending on the amount of sugar, coffee or milk used, your frappé coffee will not be called the same, but the basic recipe remains the same.
